Affiliate Disclosure
Key Takeaway / Summary:
Wealth With Mike uses affiliate links, meaning I may earn a small commission if you purchase through them. You never pay extra, and I only recommend tools and products I trust or use myself.
In 2015, the Federal Trade Commission released their rules for Disclosure Compliance. These rules exist to make sure readers and viewers of online media (blogs, YouTube videos, etc.) know if the creator is sponsored, endorsed, or partnered with a company. In plain terms: readers deserve to know if I’m making money by sharing a link or product.
In compliance with the FTC guidelines, please assume the following about links and posts on WealthWithMike.com: Any/all of the links are affiliate links of which I receive a small commission from sales of certain items.
What are affiliate links?
Purchases are made on external affiliate company websites. When you click an affiliate link on WealthWithMike.com and purchase an item, you’re buying directly from the seller (not from me). Amazon and other companies pay Wealth With Mike a small commission for promoting their products or services through their affiliate programs.
Prices are exactly the same whether you purchase through an affiliate link or a non-affiliate link. You will never pay more by clicking through one of my links.
Types of affiliate programs I use
1. Amazon affiliate links
WealthWithMike.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. This affiliate advertising program provides a way for sites to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and related properties.
When you click an Amazon affiliate link and place an item in your cart within 24 hours, I may earn a small commission on that purchase. This applies whether you buy the item I linked to or something else during that session. Amazon links are not “pay per click.”
Any link that looks like amazon.com/… can be assumed to be an Amazon affiliate link.
2. Product affiliate links
I also promote products, courses, and services outside of Amazon. These work the same way: if you click the link and buy, I may earn a commission. Again, prices are not higher if you use these affiliate links. You pay the same price you normally would. These links are never “pay per click” unless specifically stated.
Sponsored content
I do not write sponsored posts. My goal is to bring you real, unbiased information. If I ever publish a sponsored post in the future, I will clearly mark it as sponsored at the very beginning of the post.
